Job Summary

Cabrini Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Anaesthetics and PACU team in a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Anaesthetics and PACU team to deliver high-quality patient care and services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety and experience
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize team performance
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to quality improvement activities and initiatives

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA nursing registration
  • Clinical experience in Anaesthetics and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit Nursing
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Good understanding of workforce planning and budget management
  • Highly developed communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in quality improvement activities and initiatives
  • Understanding and experience of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
