Job Description

Job Title: Family Support Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Think Children. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality family support services to families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing practical goods and services to support families in need
  • Applying for grants and benefits to secure additional resources
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with other charities, community providers, and external organizations
  • Providing administrative support to the care team, including managing databases and records
  • Collaborating with health, education, and social care professionals to ensure families receive comprehensive support

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a charity environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of diversity issues affecting children, young people, and their families
