Business Development Manager

Kenyon International Emergency Services is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their Bracknell-based team. As a key member of the commercial team, you will play a crucial role in identifying new growth opportunities and forming strategic partnerships that drive business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies to drive revenue expansion and market penetration.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through consultative sales and relationship-building skills.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and Head of Commercial to develop and implement sales strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Research and develop leads through the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Prepare and present briefings, proposals, and presentations to current and prospective clients.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align strategies and provide holistic customer experiences.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay competitive and adapt strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in a target-driven Business Development Management role for a service provider, using consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience researching potential accounts, identifying key players, and developing inroads to generate interest.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce, to maintain a robust sales pipeline and track leads, opportunities, and prospects.
  • Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision, and the application of good analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial acumen, foresight, and an innovative instinct, able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documents and presentations using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
