About Our Team:

The EMEA Library Sales Operations team is a collaborative and diverse group that supports the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales function. We work with various internal teams to provide the tools and resources needed to excel at selling Sage products in the library market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transformative Open Access journals agreements with senior sales leadership and key customers.
  • Foster relationships with internal teams and high-value clients to drive business growth.
  • Analyse publications, usage, and revenue data to create significant proposals and reports.
  • Draft, review, and manage complex contracts.
  • Stay up-to-date with scholarly publishing developments, Open Access policies, and models to support senior leadership.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions to educate researchers and librarians on agreements and compliance.

Your Skills:

  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement metrics to evaluate agreement performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advocacy for Open Access and ability to communicate complex data effectively.
