Key Responsibilities:

As a Culinary Specialist at our Glen Coe Country House, you will contribute to providing a retreat experience for guests participating in guided or self-guided walking tours. You will be aware of guest needs and meal schedules, ensuring timely service. Menu planning will be conducted in advance, with pre-orders taken for lunches and dinners.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and serving a Traditional British menu, which features breakfast, packed lunches, and a three-course evening meal served in a banquet style.


Candidate Profile:

We are seeking candidates with the following essential qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Food Safety legislation, and Hygiene standards
  • Ability to maintain the culinary standards established by the Head Chef
  • NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cooking or a willingness to pursue this qualification
  • Team-oriented with flexibility to work evenings and weekends
