Key Responsibilities:

As a Culinary Specialist at our Glen Coe Country House, you will play a vital role in providing a welcoming retreat for guests participating in guided or self-guided walking tours. You will be aware of the number of guests and their dining needs, as our meal schedules are predetermined. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and serve a Traditional British menu, which includes breakfast, packed lunches, and a three-course evening meal served in a banquet style.

Candidate Profile:

We invite applications from individuals who possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food safety laws, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to maintain the culinary standards established by the Head Chef.
  • NVQ Level 3 in professional cooking or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
  • Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
