CAD Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative designs for our Facility Design Authority. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop designs that meet safety and performance requirements, using CAD software packages such as Autodesk Inventor.
  • Produce various design options, following technical professionals' verbal instructions or ideas to assist in resolving a design concept not yet completely defined.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality.
  • Deliver designs that address defined requirements, across the full engineering lifecycle, to a high standard.
  • Ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the lifecycle, liaising with discipline specialists to ensure overall design intent is maintained.
  • Maintenance of Design Change Registers and ensuring appropriate levels of configuration control are applied.
Requirements:
  • Experiencing of delivering 3D and 2D CAD outputs on large engineering projects.
  • Producing designs as part of a multi-discipline design team.
  • Able to work on a nuclear licensed site.
