Job Summary
Searchability NS&D is seeking a highly skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our team. As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing designs for the Facility Design Authority to ensure that utilities, infrastructure, engineering processes, equipment, and facilities adhere to all relevant legislation, standards, and requirements across the entire facility lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Development: Deliver designs that address defined requirements, across the full engineering lifecycle, to a high standard.
- Design Intent: Ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the lifecycle, liaising with discipline specialists to ensure overall design intent is maintained.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Design Change Management: Maintenance of Design Change Registers and ensuring appropriate levels of configuration control are applied.
Requirements
- Experience: Experiencing of delivering 3D and 2D CAD outputs on large engineering projects. Producing designs as part of a multi-discipline design team.
- Regulatory Requirements: Able to work on a nuclear licensed site.
