About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our Children and Young People (CYP) Intelligence team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive improved outcomes for young people in Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced SQL queries to extract data from our Data Warehouse environments, ensuring reports are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Create user-friendly Power BI dashboards to provide business stakeholders with timely and relevant information.
  • Develop efficient data models and data visualizations to support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence Managers to deliver high-quality reports and data insights to support statutory and non-statutory requests.
Requirements
  • Significant experience with SQL, with a focus on query building for reporting.
  • Proven experience working with large complex data warehouses.
  • Strong data visualization skills with Power BI or similar tools.
  • Experience working with youth justice or other statistical and qualitative information.
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of statistical and analytical methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to research and resolve complex issues.
