Job Overview

Mansell Recruitment Group Plc is seeking an experienced Proposal Engineer to join our team. As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and understanding the proposal process, tracking clients over several years to secure orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and understand the proposal process, tracking clients over several years to secure orders.
  • Handle bespoke equipment projects that require detailed client interaction and persistent follow-up.
  • Travel to meet clients as needed, maintaining and building strong relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with the Process department, which provides technical support and client-facing expertise.
  • Ensure all equipment, valued at millions of pounds, is handled with meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Read and interpret Terms & Conditions effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a proposals role within an engineering or technical environment.
  • Background in heavy industry equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and manage projects.
  • Confident, motivated, and highly organized.
  • Persistent and capable of managing long-term client relationships.
  • Hands-on approach and proactive attitude towards problem-solving.

Salary:

The salary offered for this position is £40,000- £80,000 if a candidate can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
