ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a vital member of our Growth Sales team, you will be assigned a specific territory (existing clients) and a sales target, requiring you to identify, manage, and close opportunities from start to finish. This position is particularly focused on generating business from our established clients who have transitioned from the Acquisition Sales team.

Your responsibilities will include presenting and proposing Clevertouch's consultancy and technical delivery services, aimed at optimizing or enhancing a client's investment in Marketing Technology. You will determine the optimal times to engage our team of Consultants and Martech specialists during your sales process for renewals and new opportunities, ensuring that proposals are accurately scoped and adequately resourced.

This role enables you to market our comprehensive range of services, including our software Momentum, across various supported Marketing Technologies (such as Marketing Automation, Sales Enablement, and Strategic Content Management).

Opportunities will be generated through your efforts, our partner network, and inbound inquiries from your designated accounts. All opportunities will stem from existing clients assigned to you.

You will report directly to the Head of Growth Accounts. The Clevertouch environment is built on meritocracy, allowing an ambitious and successful candidate to take on additional responsibilities and autonomy early in their tenure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Achieving sales targets by retaining and expanding existing client accounts, which are defined by revenue and potential, and may vary annually.
  • Establishing strong relationships at all levels within your accounts, with a focus on becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic account plans and territory management.
  • Managing all High Value Touch Points (HVTPs) such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), customer journey mapping, and executive engagements.
  • Overseeing the entire sales cycle, including managing meetings, proposals, presentations, Statements of Work (SOWs), pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Building strong partnerships with Account Executives and leadership in strategic and emerging partner organizations.
  • This role will require travel for client meetings, partner events, and industry gatherings.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree-level education is preferred.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow is essential for your development and success.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a B2B sales or account management role.
  • Experience in crafting complex proposals in collaboration with team members.
  • Professional, engaging, and credible presentation skills, with experience in delivering proposals both in-person and via video conferencing.
  • Willingness to travel, primarily within the UK, with occasional international travel.
  • Experience selling to C-Suite executives, Directors, or Company Owners.
  • A proven track record of meeting sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems for tracking and forecasting opportunities, with familiarity in Salesforce being advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exemplary integrity and professionalism, as the manner in which you conduct business is as important as the outcomes.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in Marketing Automation or email marketing.
  • Background in Marketing within a Technology or Services Provider context.
  • Knowledge and experience with platforms such as Marketo, Eloqua, or Pardot.
