Engineering Stock Controller/Stores Lead

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Stock Controller/Stores Lead to join our team at Fidus Recruitment Ltd. This is a Monday-to-Friday position that will play a critical role in our well-established Engineering function.

The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all preventative maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production downtime.

This is a core member of the engineering team and will play a crucial role in developing and managing the site's material management process.

The ideal candidate will ensure that the correct specification and quality standards are controlled through a spares issue and receipt process.

Responsibilities include supporting engineering administration, systems, ordering, and overall budget support.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Ability to understand engineering terminology and common asset types
  • Can identify common engineering parts in the production line
  • Knowledge of Food Manufacturing Assets & Food Safety Standards
