Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Offshore Structures Engineer to lead and mentor our offshore design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining technical solutions, reviewing team outputs, and collaborating with various disciplines to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and plan the offshore design team's activities for assigned projects, ensuring timely project delivery and meeting project goals.
  • Structural Analysis: Perform structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides, developing technical solutions during various design stages.
  • Technical Documentation: Review and approve technical documentation produced by the team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers, supporting multiple project teams and promoting knowledge sharing.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other disciplines and project management to ensure successful project outcomes, driving innovation and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Extensive experience in the analysis and design of offshore structures, including substructures and topsides, with proficiency in using FEM models and designing foundation systems.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in re-design and assessment of brownfield structures, life extension, and reliability analysis, with expertise in non-linear analyses, blast impact, redundancy, and pushover analysis.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and direct structural engineering teams, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and a strong communication style.
  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering (with a focus on structures).
