Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer - Offshore Structures to lead our offshore design team and provide guidance on the execution of structural analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal workflows for assigned projects, ensuring timely and efficient planning of team activities.
  • Conduct structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides, utilizing expertise in ISO1900 series, API RP2A, and AISC code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design foundation systems, including foundation piles and mud mats.
  • Lead the re-design and assessment of brownfield structures, life extension, and reliability analyses, with a focus on problem-solving and critical decision-making.
  • Develop and verify FEM models of fixed offshore structures, including jackets and topsides, for in-place and temporary conditions.
  • Interface with other discipline teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Organize and direct the offshore resources' workload to deliver the project scope within the scheduled timeframe.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in offshore structure analysis and design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to create and verify FEM models of fixed offshore structures, including jackets and topsides.
  • Experience in re-design and assessment of brownfield structures, life extension, and reliability analyses.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore structural materials, fabrication, and installation aspects.
  • Capacity to lead and direct a team of structural engineers, as well as interface with other discipline teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
  • Availability to travel abroad, both short and long term.

Qualifications

  • Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office package, AUTOCAD, and similar computer tools.
