We are seeking dedicated Young Person Support Workers to join our team, providing essential assistance to young individuals in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and assess the young person's ability to navigate daily living, education, training, or employment.
- Provide guidance and support to foster appropriate relationships and friendships.
- Prepare and oversee weekly and monthly reports, ensuring person-centered planning is maintained.
- Assist young individuals in attending meetings and relevant professional appointments.
- Participate in planning meetings, contributing necessary information as required.
- Support young persons with financial planning and managing their weekly allowance.
- Engage in meetings and training sessions as necessary.
- Perform general administrative and housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of young individuals in the service.
We are looking for individuals with prior experience in supporting young people, who are comfortable working in a 24-hour shift pattern that includes sleep-in duties.
The ideal candidate will possess an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or a qualification in caring for children and young people.
Working ScheduleThis role operates on a three-week rolling rota, providing a structured yet flexible working environment.
