Education and Youth Development Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sessional Youth Support Worker at Sja's West. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support services to young people involved with the NHS Cadet Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hour-long sessions to young people, with an additional hour for flexible planning, to support their development and growth.
- Work closely with a Project Lead and other Youth Support Workers to plan and deliver content tailored to the individual needs of the young people on the programme.
- Support the recruitment of young people onto the programme and ensure they have a positive experience.
- Act as a support and point of contact for young people enrolled on the programme to help them maximize their opportunities for growth and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the programme runs smoothly and administrative duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Experience of delivering formal or informal training or activities to young people.
- Ability to motivate young people who have low or unrealised aspirations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor your style to suit a variety of audiences.
- High levels of IT literacy with a good knowledge of MS Office and remote working tools.
