Pipefitter - Fabrication and Installation Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install pipework systems in accordance with engineering standards and quality procedures.
- Use a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder, and weld pipes.
- Install utilities aboard ship, including sinks, showers, and toilets.
- Work in a team environment to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Requirements:
- Trade papers, such as a formal Modern apprenticeship, and ability to provide papers.
- Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, and use of associated equipment.
- Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness and manufacturing processes.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at height.
- Safety certification, such as SHE induction, COSHH awareness, and working at height.
- Background in a major construction or manufacturing environment.
