Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior QC Inspector to join our Supply Chain team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will provide quality control inspection support to the Supply Chain Function, working closely with the Global Procurement team and Global Product Line Project Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control inspections and monitoring activities on new manufactured, repaired, or modified products to ensure conformance to Expro specifications.
  • Review documentation submitted with QC inspection requirements and complete inspection release documentation upon completion of QC tasks.
  • Raise non-conformance reports against products that do not meet Expro specified requirements.
  • Ensure inspection measuring equipment is kept safe, clean, and in current calibration.
  • Visit customer facilities to perform inspection/testing within a 30-mile radius of Aberdeen.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar QC role.
  • Knowledge/experience with interpreting industry specifications and materials testing.
  • Knowledge/experience in various QC inspection techniques and equipment, including micrometres, callipers, and surface comparators.
  • Professional certification/qualification through a recognized provider, such as ASNT or equivalent NDT certification.
  • Oil and Gas, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial experience preferred.
