Experienced Credit Controller

The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Controller to oversee the end-to-end elements of the billing & collection lifecycle in partnership with our external chartered accounting firm that handle the day to day accounting and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Cross checking of invoices created by automated system
- Submission of invoices to clients (Electronic)
- Credit & Debt control – Phone & Email communications to international clients
- Cash position & client update reporting – To CEO
- Functional Mailbox management
- Payment loading into the banking system for workers & vendors
- Client tax receipt collection
We work closely with a chartered accounting firm that provides the following services:
- Bookkeeping
- Reconciliations (Invoices, cards & bank balances)
- VAT Calculations & Submissions
- Financial Accounts
- Management Reporting
- WHT Reclaims
- PAYE Calculations + HMRC
- Financial Advice & Reviews
- Timesheet collection > Approvals > Invoice Drafting
- Vendor PO Requests
- Internal Portal
We are looking for a Credit Controller with:
- Proven experience in credit control, ideally with exposure to international clients
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone – you're confident, persuasive, and personable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing your time and priorities effectively
- Comfortable working with accounting software and systems
- Eager to learn about and navigate the complexities of the oil & gas industry
