Hotel Night Team Leader - Chertsey, Surrey

Job Type: Full Time - Seasonal (Fixed End Date)

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Effectively manage the hotel operation as the department duty manager for your shift
  • Handle guest feedback and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Support the Hotel Operations Assistant Manager in managing the hotel front of house team by supervising a number of direct reports
  • Ensure all training for direct reports is up to date and compliant with company policies
  • Conduct regular audits of the hotel's financial activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Take reservations and handle guest inquiries in person and over the phone
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guest feedback and queries
  • Respond to first aid incidents and provide support as needed

Additional Responsibilities

What You'll Need to Do

  • Conduct hotel evacuations in accordance with fire and safety regulations as required
  • Perform regular hotel walk rounds and fire extinguisher checks during each shift

Requirements and Qualifications

An Ideal Candidate Would Be

  • Friendly and approachable with excellent customer service skills
  • Enthusiastic about creating memorable experiences for our guests
  • Integrity in handling guest property and sensitive information
  • Previous experience in people management and supervision

Working Conditions

  • Working hours will include weekends and holidays as required
  • Due to the nature of this role, we will only accept applications from candidates over the age of 18
