Position Overview

As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our organization by providing assistance to our clinical operations.

Your responsibilities will include effective communication with patients, clients, and healthcare providers through various channels. This position offers valuable insights into case management practices and involves customer service elements, particularly in addressing patient feedback and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding to inquiries from patients, clients, or healthcare providers.
  • Managing questions regarding case status, treatment referrals, or scheduling clinical evaluations.
  • Assisting with the management of absence services by processing new referrals and coordinating clinical assessments.
  • Collaborating with the Customer Experience Consultant to gather and analyze patient and client feedback.
  • Flexible work options available, including a hybrid model.
  • Availability to work varied shifts as required.
Essential Qualifications:

Required experience includes:

  • A relevant degree in a clinical field (e.g., Sports Therapy or Rehabilitation).
  • Experience in delivering exceptional customer service or administrative support.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to resolving issues.
  • Proficient in IT applications, particularly MS Office.
  • Outstanding communication abilities, fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Eligibility for membership with relevant professional bodies.

Preferred experience includes:

  • Background in healthcare or insurance sectors.
  • Experience in managing complaints and claims, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks being advantageous.
