Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a specialist carer, you will work with one client per shift, providing high-quality care and support to children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children with complex needs, including tracheostomy care, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and other specialist care requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent client outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in specialist care.
  • Contribute to the development of our carer development centre, providing input on training and education programs.

Requirements

  • Be over 18 years old.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have a good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
