Position Overview
As a pivotal member of the IT Services team at the University of Oxford, the Business Change Manager for the Research Portfolio will play a crucial role in driving transformation initiatives within the research domain. This full-time, fixed-term position is an opportunity to engage with a dynamic team focused on enhancing digital capabilities that support the university's research endeavors.

Key Responsibilities
The Business Change Manager will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring comprehensive understanding of the impacts of change initiatives across the research community and relevant stakeholders.
  • Providing support and guidance to staff and students affected by changes, facilitating their transition to new operational methodologies.
  • Identifying and embedding changes in business processes, job roles, organizational structures, and technology to achieve desired outcomes.

This role is integral to the successful delivery of IT projects, enhancing business processes, and maximizing stakeholder benefits through effective technology utilization. The Business Change Manager will collaborate closely with various teams, including Programme and Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Implementation Officers, within a matrix management framework.

Work Flexibility
While this position is full-time, we are open to applications from candidates seeking part-time opportunities (minimum 20 hours/0.80FTE) and those requiring flexible working arrangements.
