Lead Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Pharmacist to join our team as a Clinical Pharmacy Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and coordinate our Pharmacy team across all Urgent Primary Care services, ensuring regulatory, contractual, QOF, and CQC compliance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of the Urgent and Primary Care landscape and the direction in which the services are heading. They will be an experienced Pharmacist and a people manager, professional, ambitious, with a high level of social skill and a meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the Pharmacy team across all Urgent Primary Care services
  • Ensure regulatory, contractual, QOF, and CQC compliance
  • Develop and implement innovative ways to reduce waste and assist sites to manage the medicine budget
  • Build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the PCN
  • Travel to sites nationwide, requiring access to a personal car and a valid driving license
Requirements
  • Trained Pharmacist with relevant experience
  • Experience of working in or working alongside Primary and Urgent Care Services
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Management qualification or relevant experience
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Confident IT skills
  • CQC and regulatory knowledge
  • Registered Manager or willing to become one with training
