About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Lead to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Service Lead, you will play a critical role in leading and directing the day-to-day operational management of our Youth Support Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding and Risk Management: Ensure the welfare, safety, and well-being of young people receiving support at our service, and make necessary referrals in line with local safeguarding procedures.
  • Service Development and Management: Work closely with our service development team to select and assess potential new residents, and develop individual support plans that meet their needs.
  • Health and Safety: Monitor and adhere to Health & Safety legislation and good practice, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for young people and staff.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Support and develop staff, carrying out staff supervision and appraisal to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality support.
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring that available resources are used effectively to deliver high-quality support to young people.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Level 5 qualification essential, or commitment to complete within 2 years. Level 3 CCYP and relevant experience will be considered in exceptional circumstances.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends on a rota basis, and sometimes short notice changes in shifts.
