Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior HV Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical plant and equipment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Electrical Plant Management: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our electrical plant and equipment, identifying and implementing improvements to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate our EC&I team, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and expertise needed to excel in their roles.
  • Operations Support: Collaborate with our Operations Area Managers to develop and implement budgets and action plans, ensuring alignment with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Contractor and Supplier Management: Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and that our company's interests are protected.
  • Maintenance Services: Provide maintenance services to ensure the continued safe and efficient operation of our electrical plant and equipment.

Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, with a proven track record in electricity generation maintenance.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Relevant Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications and experience in electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
