We are seeking a dedicated Employment Support Specialist to assist individuals with disabilities in securing and maintaining fulfilling employment opportunities.

As an Employment Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert guidance and support related to employment, including job search strategies and workplace integration assistance.
  • Maintaining accurate systems in accordance with contractual obligations, such as electronic documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with service standards while managing a designated caseload as directed by your supervisor.
  • Working towards and achieving established targets as outlined by contractual requirements, which includes negotiating and securing paid employment opportunities within the local job market.
  • Embodying the ethos and values of the service, delivering high-quality support that respects the dignity of individuals in line with person-centred practices.
  • Collaborating with local employers to facilitate reasonable adjustments, conduct risk assessments, and define job roles that support individuals with disabilities.
  • Promoting the service to local employers and fostering ongoing engagement.
