About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic mental health worker to join our team as a Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner. This is a two-year Recruit to Train role, which will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in working with children and young people with emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based interventions for children and young people with emotional and mental health needs.
  • Work closely with schools and other agencies to provide advice and support to young people and their families.
  • Develop and deliver training packages on child and young people's emotional wellbeing and mental health.
  • Assess risk and develop protocols to manage risk in collaboration with families and other staff.
  • Contribute to the development of local safeguarding child protection procedures and other relevant local procedures.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in a field relevant to child and adolescent mental health at Post Graduate level.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Professional membership registration with a relevant professional body.
