Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses on Tavener Ward, a 16-bed inpatient care and rehabilitation unit for adult men with complex mental health needs and neuropsychiatric diagnoses.
About the Role
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans to meet individual patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve shared goals.
- Providing clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
- Participating in ward audits and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.
About Tavener Ward
Tavener Ward is a specialist unit that provides care and rehabilitation to adult men with complex mental health needs and neuropsychiatric diagnoses. Our team focuses on individual goal-planning with each patient, and agrees on specific behaviors to develop or reduce. We also offer a range of therapeutic activities and interventions to support patient recovery and reintegration into the community.
