About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Electrical Engineer to join our Critical Systems team at Cundall. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in delivering innovative electrical design solutions on large-scale data centre projects.

You will collaborate with our team of experts to drive and manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects. Your expertise will be essential in the design process, production of design deliverables, and management of your immediate team of engineers.

With a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in data centre/critical systems, you will be well-versed in electrical theory and design software. Your excellent communication skills and ability to use your initiative to overcome challenges will be invaluable in this role.

We are looking for a dedicated and client-focused individual who is passionate about accurate design of electrical systems. If you have a proven track record of producing schematic diagrams, fault and discrimination studies, and preparing specifications and project reports, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process and production of design deliverables
  • Manage a team of engineers and monitor budgets and programmes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive and manage project delivery
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical design
  • Support senior staff within the team

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or a Chartered Electrical Engineer (CEng equivalent)
  • Proven experience in an Electrical Engineering role, ideally within a data centre/critical systems context
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use your initiative to overcome challenges
  • Passion for accurate design of electrical systems
