Role Summary

The Dynamic Engineering division within our Asset Management sector offers expert consultancy in noise and vibration control, primarily serving the upstream Oil and Gas industry while also extending support across various industrial domains. We currently have an opening for a Lead Vibration Engineering Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze vibration and dynamic stress measurement data from client assets, both onshore and offshore, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to enhance business opportunities and support the growth of new projects.
  • Lead and manage engineering tasks to deliver quality proposals and contract analyses, ensuring project execution aligns with client expectations regarding quality, timelines, and budget.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a senior-level expertise, demonstrating the capability to lead engineering initiatives effectively. You should have a comprehensive understanding of UK/EU laws and regulations relevant to our services and products, enabling you to provide informed advice to clients on dynamic integrity issues. Familiarity with a wide range of industry codes and guidelines will be essential for addressing both routine and complex challenges.

The successful Lead Vibration Engineering Specialist will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, complemented by a solid understanding of tools used for assessing dynamics and fatigue issues. Experience in noise and acoustics will be considered an advantage. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, although exceptional individuals who may not meet this criterion but demonstrate significant capability will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of industry standards such as BS7608, Energy Institute AVIFF Guidelines, BS7910, and ASME 19.3 will be highly regarded.
