HSEQ Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in Renfrewshire, is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Group HSEQ Manager to ensure all policies are being adhered to and will provide expert advice and assistance to Managers and staff on HSEQ matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to staff on HSEQ systems, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ KPIs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and product complaints to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with operations and local quality functions to track and document environmental and health and safety metrics.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH / IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
- Internal audit qualifications and experience in auditing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Computer competence, with experience in SharePoint management an advantage.
