We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team at Small Heath Leadership Academy, a secondary school in Birmingham that is part of the Star Academies trust. As a School Staff Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a caring and supportive learning environment for our students.

With a strong focus on pastoral care, you will work closely with our students, teachers, and support staff to ensure that every individual receives the support and guidance they need to thrive. Your experience of working with learners of all ages and backgrounds will be invaluable in helping us to create a positive and inclusive school community.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work effectively as part of a team. About the Role

  • Providing pastoral care and support to students, including guidance on academic and personal issues
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure that students receive the support and guidance they need to succeed

  • Collaborating with other members of the school community to create a positive and inclusive school environment
