Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Rhodes Wood Hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based treatment plans to support the individual needs of each young person, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored treatment programmes to address the complex needs of young people with eating disorders
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in consultation with families and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Expertise in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders in children and young people
  • Strong clinical leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience of working with families and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
