Job Summary:

Central Recruitment is seeking an experienced Machine Labourer to join our client's team in the Paint Shop Department. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for assisting the Powder Coaters in preparing sheet metal for painting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hanging sheet metal ready for painting
  • Placing painted items in the oven to dry
  • Trimming metal to finish the product
  • Manual handling of up to 25kg
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work station
  • Transporting stock around the production areas
  • Collaborating with welders as needed

Requirements:

Candidates must have prior labouring experience, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Previous experience with powder coating and paint spraying is also highly valued.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £11.44-£11.50
  • Full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with overtime available at an enhanced rate.
