My client a well-established powder Coating Company Based in Darwen is seeking a skilled and experienced Amada Press Brake Operator to join Their manufacturing team. As an Amada Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the Amada press brake machine to produce high-quality metal components.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM Friday 8 AM - 12 PM

Pay between £13 - £15 per hour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and prepare the Amada press brake machine for production according to the specifications provided
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering plans, and technical drawings to determine the correct set-up and operation of the machine
- Select the appropriate tools, dies, and fixtures for each job
- Load and unload raw materials into the machine
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and precise bending and forming of metal components
- Monitor the machine during operation to detect any malfunctions or issues
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure its optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience operating Amada press brake machines
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering plans, and technical drawings
- Ability to accurately measure and evaluate the dimensions of metal components
- Skilled in adjusting machine settings to achieve desired bending and forming results
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
