Position Overview

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting electrical designs for fixed plant operations, including detailed calculations, reports, specifications, and schematic layouts specifically tailored for railway initiatives. Your collaboration with diverse teams, including project and engineering managers, will be essential in ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems with various railway infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive electrical designs and layouts for railway projects.
  • Conduct calculations and prepare detailed reports and specifications.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to address design challenges.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status or in the process of obtaining it.
  • Expertise in CAD tools (MicroStation or AutoCAD) and electrical analysis software (Amtech, Etap, CYMCAP, CDEGS).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
