About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at ETS Egis Transport Solutions. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing electrical fixed plant designs, calculations, reports, specifications, schematic, and layout drawings for railway projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop electrical designs for railway projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and engineering managers to integrate electrical systems with other railway infrastructure elements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to junior engineers and address design-related challenges through collaboration and conversation with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Efficiency: Independently resolve routine design issues and apply knowledge/training to complex tasks with minimal supervision, efficiently managing work and coordinating electrical design aspects of railway projects.
  • Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or a number of years of design, construction, or assurance experience in railway electrical engineering.
