About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Support Time and Recovery Specialist to join our Fylde Coast Home Treatment Team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing 24-hour support to service users and their families/carers who are suffering from mental health concerns.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to service users and their families/carers in a community setting, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with local services to ensure effective risk management and quality care, adhering to evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families/carers, and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of trust and respect.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of our services, identifying areas for growth and development.

Person Specification:

  • Higher education studies certificate or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent experience in a care-related setting.
  • Certificate in Mental Health, demonstrating a strong understanding of mental health issues and their impact.
  • Awareness of evidence-based practice and its application in mental health services.
  • Ability to influence and inspire innovative and effective practice in others, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Experience of individual and group work in mental health specialities, with a focus on community-based care.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Knowledge of the cultures and religions of the communities we serve, promoting inclusivity and diversity.
