Controls Assurance Director

RSM Consulting is seeking a seasoned Controls Assurance Director with expertise in ISAE and AAF standards to join our dynamic team.
As part of our Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing divisions, we deliver client-centric solutions for middle market businesses. Our dedicated team of over 1,700 professionals plays a vital role in driving the firm's growth and success.
Your Role:
- Lead and execute complex internal controls engagements, encompassing US SOX, ICoFR, and Service Auditor reporting under ISAE3402 and AAF standards.
- Manage the delivery of controls documentation and testing at client sites, adhering to RSM methodologies and relevant standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across RSM, the risk & governance service line, and a diverse range of clients.
- Develop and implement internal controls assignment plans, including process flows and controls documentation.
- Provide guidance and training to auditors, fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Contribute to market-related activities and expand the client portfolio within the internal controls domain.
Your Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of internal controls standards (AAF, ISAE, SOX, etc.), documentation, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with SOX implementation and controls assurance reporting engagements.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with large global organizations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring technical work aligns with standards and quality requirements.
- Relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, IIA, or CIMA.
