About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join our UK team in the Global Healthcare Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare Team and contributing to the delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Structural Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of the UK Healthcare Team through exceptional project management and client liaison skills.
  • Develop and oversee structural concepts and design philosophies, ensuring alignment with our company's values and goals.
  • Inspire and motivate engineers and technicians on your projects, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Support key accounts and develop new clients, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
  • Contribute to UK Healthcare team sector business development strategies, identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion.
  • Produce high-quality fee proposals, showcasing your technical expertise and business acumen.
  • Implement best practice procedures to enhance and maintain delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.
  • Manage your own projects, allocating resources and coordinating tasks to ensure successful project delivery.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer with a strong background in the UK Healthcare sector. You will have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, MIStructE or MICE, and a thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360. You will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to run multiple projects of varying size and complexity.

You will be an excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex technical concepts in plain language, verbally and in writing. You will be able to motivate and inspire confidence both internally and externally across geographical borders. You will be able to work autonomously on all technical aspects of the discipline.
