About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Advanced Technology group, you will be responsible for delivering complex engineering projects using advanced computer-based structural and dynamic analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in technical delivery teams to deliver projects to completion, within budget and to programme.
  • Effectively manage your time to meet project deadlines.
  • Produce technically compliant design deliverables in accordance with input requirements.
  • Develop designs and calculations to demonstrate acceptable performance or identify design issues.
  • Produce key technical documentation, including calculations and design reports.
  • Build internal relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in Environment, Safety, Health, Security, and Quality.
Requirements
  • Strong academic background with a relevant Honours degree or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer Status (e.g., MICE, MIStructE, or MIMechE).
  • Experience in using computer modelling packages, such as finite element analysis (e.g., Abaqus and Ansys).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A flexible attitude to the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility given.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with working to design codes, industry standards, and performance-based design approaches.
  • Site experience.
  • Applied experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
