We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large English-medium secondary school in Caerphilly. The successful candidate will work closely with the ALN coordinator and teaching staff to provide essential support for students with Behavioural needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Behavioural needs and a passion for making a positive impact on their social development and emotional well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1-to-1 support for pupils with Behavioural needs
  • Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and addressing Behavioural difficulties
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to develop and implement Behavioural support plans

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check (child only) & registration with the EWC
  • Experience working with Behavioural needs
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE A* - C
  • Minimum of 2 references
