Collaborating closely with the Home Manager, you will guide and support our team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that the quality of care remains exceptional.

Your clinical expertise will be vital in overseeing the nursing operations, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices.


Key Responsibilities as an Assistant Clinical Manager:

  • Support the Home Manager in the comprehensive management of the nursing facility.
  • Supervise and lead the clinical team, guaranteeing that superior care is provided consistently.
  • Oversee care assessments, planning, and the implementation of individualized care strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and other relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Manage medication administration, ensuring safe and effective practices are followed.
  • Foster staff development through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals to promote the well-being of all individuals.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Home Manager, ensuring seamless care and management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience as an Assistant Clinical Manager:

  • Essential: Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
  • Current and valid NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a nursing home setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a clinical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A strong commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
Flexibility is required for this position, with a commitment to working 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly, along with additional supernumerary hours as needed.
