Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of sustainable products. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
  • Respond to breakdowns, identify faults, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and report findings to management.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets quality regulations.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on mould injection machinery and robotic equipment.
  • Test and verify electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic operations of mould injection machines.
  • Develop and maintain risk assessments for all activities.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Conduct quality control checks and reviews.
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or similar).
  • 17th/18th Edition training.
  • Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics and injection moulding machinery.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
