Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold high standards of quality in the nursery regarding the environment, resources, and experiences provided to children.
  • Offer professional and constructive feedback to parents and caregivers about their child's progress.
  • Implement nursery key worker procedures effectively and assign children to key workers appropriately.
  • Ensure the safety of children and that staff are aware of and adhere to safeguarding protocols.
  • Share responsibility for maintaining health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
  • Assist the Nursery Management team during inspections by regulatory authorities and support the implementation of any recommendations.
  • Engage in self-development activities, including appraisals, and identify training needs for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's policies on diversity and equal opportunities.
  • Take on additional management responsibilities as needed.
