About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Operations Manager to join our team at Little Heath School. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our operational and financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Promote the highest standards of efficiency in our business function, ensuring that our school maintains a high standard of teaching and learning, and that our students make outstanding progress.
- Business Management Support: Provide business management support to our Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, and governing body, ensuring that we make the most effective use of our resources in support of our strategic priorities.
- Financial Leadership: Lead our finance strategy, working closely with our Finance Team to establish a three-year rolling budget and provide monthly monitoring reports and forecasts.
- Policy Development: Formulate and implement policies in key strategic areas, including Financial Management, Health and Safety, ICT, Data Protection, and Freedom of Information.
- IT Strategy: Take a leading role in our IT strategy, working with other senior leaders to ensure that our IT resources are efficiently deployed to empower learning and improve efficiency across our administrative and business support services.
- Compliance: Ensure that our school achieves compliance with all current regulations, including financial management, offsite activities, and health and safety.
- Contract Management: Be responsible for the management of contracts at our school, including tendering processes when required.
- Team Leadership: Line manage our Communications, Finance, Premises, and HR Teams.
