We are looking for an experienced School Operations Manager who can confidently lead all catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 32.5 hours per week.

Please note: This role is contracted to 44 weeks per year.

We are looking for a Manager who will:

  1. Supervise teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service
  2. Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
  3. Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
  4. Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
  5. Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales
  6. Liaise between customers and our internal teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations
  7. Support and train our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
  8. Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill and has:

  1. A passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  2. A minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry
  3. Experience managing teams in a similar role
  4. Brilliant financial acumen
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills
