Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrator / Events and Corporate Fundraising Coordinator to join our team at the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF). This role will be responsible for supporting the Events and Corporate Team in maximizing income for the charity through its activities, including close liaison with regional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Events and Corporate Team in achieving fundraising goals through effective event planning and coordination
  • Assist with supporter care and account management to ensure high standards of service
  • Work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to research and report on potential and existing corporate relationships
  • Coordinate and grow our event community, The Fundraising Army, including drafting engaging content across our platforms
Requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong administrative skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools and social media platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and work effectively with all elements of the Charity and supporting volunteers
  • Passion for learning and a self-starter attitude
  • Strong empathy with the cause of the Charity and its beneficiaries
  • Ability to handle pressure and work outside of core hours and at weekends when necessary
  • Demonstrable interest in fundraising, marketing, and/or public relations
