About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member and Customer Development Executive. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for engaging with both potential and existing members and customers, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable products or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with new and existing members and customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing members and customers.
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity targets, including sales and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding for new members and customers, including processing membership applications and assigning the correct membership category.
  • Act as a customer advocate, addressing concerns and highlighting successes to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align customer experience with broader business goals.
  • Track performance metrics, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and upselling.
  • Manage sensitive customer information with accuracy and care.
  • Represent the company at relevant events and meetings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales and service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in processing payments or handling sensitive information.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and willing to learn new systems, including CRMs and databases.
